Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of the Catavexa website, Shopify application, Google Merchant Center integration, and related services. By installing or using Catavexa, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the merchant or organization you represent.
1. The service
Catavexa helps Shopify merchants import, transform, validate, synchronize, monitor, and improve product data for Google Merchant Center. Features may include feed configuration, validation, issue diagnosis, reconciliation, revision history, rollback, alerts, and AI-assisted suggestions.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must have authority to install apps, approve charges, access the connected Shopify store, and authorize the connected Google account. You are responsible for the actions of users who access Catavexa through your accounts and for maintaining the security of those accounts.
3. Shopify and Google requirements
Catavexa depends on Shopify, Google Merchant Center, and their APIs. You must maintain eligible accounts, accurate business and website information, required permissions, and compliance with the rules of those services. Their terms, policies, availability, and decisions remain outside Catavexa’s control.
4. Merchant responsibilities
- Provide accurate, lawful, current product and business information.
- Review target countries, currencies, languages, markets, mappings, rules, and product selections.
- Review validation results, AI suggestions, and Google issues before acting on them.
- Maintain product landing pages and comply with Google Shopping policies and applicable law.
- Keep account access secure and promptly disconnect accounts that should no longer have access.
- Do not use Catavexa to transmit malware, unlawful content, deceptive data, or data you lack authority to process.
5. Plans, billing, and trials
Current plan prices and limits appear on the pricing page and in the app. Paid charges for Shopify App Store distribution are approved and billed through Shopify. A trial, if offered, will be disclosed in Shopify’s charge approval flow. Taxes, currency conversion, and Shopify billing treatment may depend on the merchant’s account and location.
You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel through available in-app or Shopify controls. When paid access ends, Catavexa may apply Free plan limits. Restricted feeds or schedules may stop running while configuration is retained. Unless law requires otherwise, fees already charged are non-refundable except as expressly stated by Shopify or Catavexa in writing.
6. Data accuracy and Google outcomes
Catavexa can help prepare, validate, and submit product data, but it cannot guarantee Google Merchant Center approval, ad performance, product ranking, traffic, sales, or eligibility for every Google surface. You remain responsible for reviewing source data, submitted data, landing pages, policy compliance, and final business decisions.
7. AI-assisted features
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. AI suggestions are provided for merchant review and are not legal, regulatory, advertising-policy, or professional advice. Catavexa protects designated commercial fields from independent AI edits, but you must review all accepted content before publication.
8. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the service, bypass limits, probe or exploit security controls, access another tenant’s data, resell the service without permission, reverse engineer protected parts except where law permits, or use Catavexa in violation of law or third-party rights.
9. Availability and changes
Catavexa may change, add, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with platform changes, or improve the service. Beta or preview features may change more frequently and may be withdrawn. Scheduled maintenance, incidents, and third-party outages may affect availability.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
Catavexa and its software, design, documentation, and branding are owned by Catavexa or its licensors. You retain rights in your merchant and catalog data. You grant Catavexa the limited rights needed to process that data and provide the service. Feedback may be used to improve Catavexa without obligation, provided it does not disclose confidential information.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Catavexa by canceling paid access, disconnecting Google, and uninstalling the app. Catavexa may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, or platform requirements. On termination, data is handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catavexa is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free output. These disclaimers do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catavexa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, advertising opportunity, or business interruption. Catavexa’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the fees paid for Catavexa during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Governing terms
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Catavexa’s operating entity, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. Before beginning formal proceedings, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through written notice and discussion.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; Catavexa may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, or business transfer.
